LOL even though I'm not using this emulator I've been following its progress with interest.

One of the things that has made me think is how can we help StrmnNrmn out?

Well one of those ways is answered in his Blog.

"I'm not too sure what I want to concentrate on next. It's been over a month since the last release and I think that it would be a good idea to knock out the next few releases in quick succession, to help me pick up some momentum that I've lost. If I aim to do this I'll probably concentrate on some nice (but quick) improvements such as various graphical fixes, savegame support and per-rom control configuration. Any suggestions welcome "

So its over to you the users, what would you prefer StrmnNrmn worked on? A better User Interface? Bug fixes/graphical improvements? Frameskip? Or would you prefer he tries to look at finishing off the Dynarec work for more speed improvements (bearing in mind how long it has taken him to date).

ShadowProphet/Kaiser/Wraggy, this might make a good forum poll thread if you could create one.

A second point that I would like to make is that for those of you that are desperate for sound support this does open the kernal access "can of worms" that we seem to have avoided to date. Yes basic sound support could be implemented without the use of the Media Engine but this is likely to have an impact on the performance of the emulator. If the Media Engine is used to help out then this will limit the emulator to the 1.5 firmware users thus dividing the community. My personal feeling is that people should understand that this will be an issue at some point but that for the moment StrmnNrmn should concentrate more on the visual and performance elements of the Emulator than to start work on sound emulation.

Much better from the last release, great work StrmnNrmn. Dont bother asking for another release just yet, a well deserved rest is needed I think

Divide! Divide! 1.5 fw users make the sacrifice of not upgrading for preciously this reason!

Besides, 2.xx users now have the option of getting a modchip if they seriously want to use 1.5

Don't let this project turn into another fiasco like the GBA emus, which are useless without sound.

    Yeah I'm really impressed too.
StrmnNrmn should take a rest, and then work again when he's ready
    Good work Friend !
    respect StrmnNrmn !!!
