Default PSP Internet browser Memory Stick hook

Out of curiousity...Does the PSP hook the Memory Stick from "ms0:/" into "file:/" while in the internet browser or is the "file:/" just a simple disk name spoof?
You don't need to know my mental status. You probably don't want to, either.

Im not quite understanding what your saying, but if i wanted to launch ms0:/PSP/text.txt, i would type file:/PSP/text.txt into the adress bar.

That's not what I mean...I know that it uses "file:/" instead of ms0:/ but I want to know if that is a spoof of ms0:/ or does it actually hook ms0:/ into a different drive?
