assuming you keep your fw, id say the only thing your missing is hb apps, games and emulators. i dont really know what was out back then but im sure theres an almost complete list somewhere. then you can pick n choose what you like.
I've been gone from the scene for a long time, two years five months eighteen days. Anyone around here kind enough to give me a quick rundown of the new developments. Just a few brief tags of things I need to research myself would be great.
FYI im running firmware 3.40 OE-A on an original launch day psp-1000.
All help is greatly appriciated.

Thank you for your advice. I am planning on updating my firmware, just trying to find a safe way of doing so.
First you need to download DDC8, as well as make a pandora's battery. This is critical as it will save you from ever bricking your psp. Follow the instructions in there ( there may be a required firmware, which you can just update to) and then move up and use team gen firmware in order to use the latest UMD, homebrew.
If you need specific help at any point just pm or ask here.
Remeber DDC8 FIRST!
EDIT: Next convert your DDC8 magic memory stick to an X-Gen magic memory stick.
