    Exclamation Comp doesn't recognize PSP!!!

When i connect the USB to my psp, my comp doesn't recognize it. It shows up that the USB is plugged in cause that icon on the bottom right shows up. But when i try to open up the folder, through MY Computer theres a popup and it says "Please Insert a Dsik into Drive G:"

i've had my psp for pretty much a year from now, and this has never happened..

    any help is appreciated... thanks

    **EDIT**

Now my PSP doesn't even recognize my UMD's or my Memory Stick!?!?!?!?! Please someone help!!

Well, format your memory stick. That might make your PSP recognize the memory stick.

Check your USB cable. I have a cable and the connections on it are dirty so PSP fades in and out of the connection with my PC. Try another cable. What do you mean it doesn't recognize UMD? Read the topic on that in this forum for help with UMD..
