I'll try to download the latest one, GtkRadiant-1.5.0 on 2006-03-02, and see if its just the programs itself...
EDIT: I have installed v1.5.0 and when i start it, it says "Couldnt load font MS Sans Serif 8, falling back to Sans 8". And wont start at all...anyone how to fix this problem? $niper? Anyone?

ITS AN ENTITIE FOR CHRIST SAKE!
You have to open up an entitie!
alright... please listen (I set mine on a squared 4 window settings, its an option in interface settings)
once you have change the setting to look like mine does in the tutorial then! press the " T " key
it will bring up a texture window, there are 3 tabs neer the bottom of that window, entitys, console, and textures. Click on entities!
you now have a good bit of choices to make, if you dont know what your are doing dont mess with anything you dont understand
there should be about 8 boxes lined up inside a square each with an angle degree! you can select those and it will point the entitie at that direction!

I have another question for anyone, if i were to supply textures in my next post...would someone convert them for me to work in iris? Because i cant seem to get them to work at all...or if anyone can tell me what program will work.
Also, i set the texture to a tga, 256x256,24bpp...is this correct?
