    Default PSP emulation slow?

Hey, I got the snes9x emulator working on my PSP, but it goes REALLY slow whenever I try to play a game. I've tried FF6 and Chrono Trigger so far, and both work, but run at such a slow speed as to make them completely unplayable.

    Can anyone help me out?

You need to use frameskip. Set the video options. Mess around with them till the game plays perfectly FF6 runs sweetly on frameskip 2 with v-sync on on my PSP.

OK, I set the frameskip to two, and turned on v-sync, and that helped a little, but it's still very slow.

I already had the clock speed at 333.

I refuse to turn off the sound. I will not play games that way.

OK, just tried it with v-sync off, and yes it is a little bit faster, but nowhere near fast enough.

I imagine you already know to boost the cpu speed to 333mhz. you can always turn down the quality, or turn off the sound to get better results too.
