first of all what Firmware do you have second what snes emu are you using.
i sugest snes tyl works great for me and i havent played a game yet that runs slower then 40fps
Hey, I got the snes9x emulator working on my PSP, but it goes REALLY slow whenever I try to play a game. I've tried FF6 and Chrono Trigger so far, and both work, but run at such a slow speed as to make them completely unplayable.
Can anyone help me out?

actualy get yoyofr is lates snes _tyl emu is the best out there. he has two versions for 1.50 and 2.++ users good luck
I'm using Firmware 2.60.
The emulator I have is snes9xTYL.
You need to use frameskip. Set the video options. Mess around with them till the game plays perfectlyFF6 runs sweetly on frameskip 2 with v-sync on on my PSP.
i ve u set the clock speed to 333?
also...some game got a big speed improvement if u turn the sound off in the emulator menu...
OK, I set the frameskip to two, and turned on v-sync, and that helped a little, but it's still very slow.
I already had the clock speed at 333.
I refuse to turn off the sound. I will not play games that way.
turn v-sync off it will run a lil faster w/ it off
OK, just tried it with v-sync off, and yes it is a little bit faster, but nowhere near fast enough.
I imagine you already know to boost the cpu speed to 333mhz. you can always turn down the quality, or turn off the sound to get better results too.Originally Posted by ryutoki
