I need help getting the internet connection working on 1.5!

OK for some reason when im on 2.0 i can connect to the internet on my psp and my WEP key goes in perfect but when im on 1.5 and i put my WEP key in i get this message "The you have entered is invalid. Enter a 10- or 26-character key when using a hexadecimal, or a 5- or 13- character key when using ASCll characters." Can anyone tell me how i can get my psp to connect to the internet without showing this?

make sure your typing in your WEP key propperly, and they are case sensitive.
