help new nds lite

I have a new nds lite (white) with a max media launcher and a sd supercard.

i am trying to play .nds roms it comes up with the menu i select the game it starts to load and then it has two white screens or some games it just goes black also the gba roms it loads you see the gba logo then it freezes.

i have up dated firmware

i can play hombrew games fine.

please help

Have you checked it using the article n the foint oage to see if it's a fake?

yes its not a fake the supercard has a circle on back at the bottom
