i feel a song coming on....
"If you hate the taste of wine
Why do you drink it until you're blind?
And if you swear that there's no truth and who cares
How come you say it like you're right?"
    (bright eyes)

Conor Oberst is brilliant! I love that song...

    thanx you
How am I being hostile by asking people on a PSP forum why they don't want PSP games? The general tone in here seems really negative towards having to buy PSP games to make some of the homebrews & hacks work. I asked why everyone is so negative towards actually buying PSP games, and I get flamed (pathetically, I might add) by a bunch of 733t-speak 12 year olds who can't even form full sentences.

How is any of what I said "hippicritical"?

Or did you mean Hypocritical? and still, how am I being Hypocritical? Do you even know what that word means?

Despite his/her tone of the first post, it does hold some valid points although I have only seen several posts regarding the 'never buy GTA issue'.

Roms are still illegal unless you have backed them up yourself (which is still a grey area) yet we are still allowed to talk about using them (there is a moral factor here) but ISOs we can't?

PS: I am still neutral in this topic, all I am doing is restating the OP.

As for the PSP's 'never upgrade issue', there really are a lot of users that just want the PSP for emulation and homebrew so why should they upgrade?

PSP vs GP2x (I assume) point is mainly at present, the PSP has a bit more to offer homebrew such as N64 emulation and half decent GBA emulation.

    Sigh*

I'm tired of reposting this or arguing it so I'll just point you guys out to what I told Voltron in the 2.5/2.6 exploit thread.

The point of the thread wasn't defending talk about ISOs.

The point of the thread was to ask people why they are so negative towards ACTUALLY BUYING games like GTA in order to run Homebrews.

It makes sense to me that if you really want to run homebrews and you have firmware 2.5/2.6 - then you'd run out and spend the $25 on GTA so you could play $100's worth of great homebrew games and emu's for FREE.

I'd love to see what some of these "I'm not byuing PSP games for my PSP!!!11!!!" plonkers would say if all the coders and hackers who make homebrews possible started actually charging for their work.
