    AHE PSX4Giz (Playstation Emulator for Gizmondo Released)

    The Gizmondo has you know has failed as a Console but the Homebrew and emulation scene is coming along amazing and today Zodttd has released the worlds first Playstation Emulator for the Gizmondo:

    Heres the release info:

    Hi,

    As you may or may not know, I'm a lead developer for the psx4all project. I was donated a Gizmondo by the kind people at the Spanish Gizmondo site where I will have an official release hopefully. Hopefully, because psx4giz is even slower than psx4gp2x. Meaning every game I tested is pretty slow (Buster Bros Collection only gets 31 FPS).

    To install:
    - Unzip the folder to the root directory of your SD card. I say use the root directory, since I'm assuming you're using a file selector of some sort.
    - Copy over scph1001.bin to the root directory of the SD card. scph1001.bin (bios) has to be in the same directory as psx4all.exe.
    - Copy the supported ISO formats of psx games to the psxgames folder.
    The supported ISO formats are .BIN (raw), .ISO, .IMG, .Z (PocketISO 2.0 compressed BIN files).
    - Run psx4all.exe.

    Special Controls:
    START = Giz's SOUND button.
    SELECT = Giz's BRIGHTNESS button.
    IN-GAME MENU = Giz's SOUND and BRIGTNESS button.

    Things that don't currently work:
    I didn't map a control option for L2 and R2 triggers for the Giz. If I get this emulator up to speed I will be sure to add this quick patch in the next release.

    Time to continue Final Fantasy Tactics save state on the Giz.

    I can't get it to work. I've got the BIOS, and I've got everything in the right directories. Is the emulator case sensitive? The file name of the BIOS is written in all caps.

    Get a GP2X. In fact, wait for the Playstation emulation to launch on PSP... it's likely to be better than what any other handheld can offer.
