Working Downgrader for 2.5 and 2.6 PSPs Released (V5 Beta)

im so dumb when it comes to upgrading....
i got the 2.6 eboot but i dunno what to do with it....where do i put it to activate it?

I guess I was a "non beleaver" I am suprised someone got the use of a downgrader, but dont you think that an Emu loader would be more important? if we had TYL .04 ME running on 2.5 PSP's, I do think that we'd all have 2.5 psp's and just not risk downgrading...

Make a new folder called UPDATE in ur PSP/GAME folder then put the update files in there

ye i did it ad brick my bros psp so now im gona by the md chip lol, but my friend that did in at the same time as me got his to work, it was coz i used the 1.5 dump that was posted on rapid share DONT DOWNLOAD THE 1.5 dump from rapid share, use psp hacks kit!

i tried upgrading to 2.6 through bock eloader but when i opened it through eloader....the screen went black.....then it took me back to the menu.....i put the eboot in a folder called "UPDATE" in the "GAME" folder....what am i doing wrong?

you update from the psp menu not the eboot loader

You don't need to load the Update eboot through eloader, just select the V2.6 Update in the game section when you boot up ur PSP.

EDIT: I'm still trying to pluck up the courage to downgrade

. If the worst happens, is undiluted platinum modchip released yet? (sorry for off-topic and mentioning the modchip)
