That was fun! Two weeks ago I bought a shiny new PSP, not knowing anything about firmware and only having a vague knowledge about the homebrew scene. It came with 2.50 and a few days later I snagged a copy of GTA in order to use the eLoader.

I decided to take the plunge and upgraded to 2.60, then ran the downgrader from PSP-hacks. It worked!

So, I can confirm the update works for factory 2.50s, providing you upgrade to 2.60 first.

My machine is a UK PSP, not that should matter.

My thanks to all involved with the eLoader and downgrader!

how bout a mini guide of returning ure briked psp?

1. say its busted
2. say it was for your little brother
3. ask for your money back
