first of all, if it came with 2.01 it will work. if u had writing, it would be in the top write of thf umd drivf where u see a little green

Hi videofreak, you seem to be the man to ask! I've successfully downgraded, happy days! Can i now just format my mem-stick now, and start with a fresh one?

I'm opening up the UMD drive, and in the top corners, I can't see any writing. I think I see something in the top left corner, half of the writing is under the parts. When I got my PSP it was a 2.0. Does this mean I can downgrade? I don't have much good luck with electronics, so I want to make 400% sure before I do this.

when i got mine it was 2.5 will it still not work
