thanks, but I don't have the box or any of the labels from it. Is there a way to check related to the date code or the serial #?

how to take out the plastic cover on the umd section.
why? because my brother dented the plastic, and can not read umd (making pressure on the disk and starts to make crackle sounds)

u still got ur demo disc that came with ur psp use that umd case, just pull it apart it should just come right open then put in the game it works me and my friend tested it out w/ 2 demo discs(but not a game)

the problem is either ur not putting the homebrew in the right place or ur firmware is messed up. look up a homebrew guide on google or update to 2.0 then downgrade again.
