    Default 2.6 update

hi can anyone please give me a link to 2.6 eboot please so that i may update to 2.6 so i can downgrade.

i have read a bit more about this and it seems i dont need to update to 2.6 from 2.5 to be able to downgrade. its just the hardware that matters as long as i dont have the wrong motherboard its ok.

    can anybody confirm this?

I would also like to know if i can use one of those zips already premaid for the downgrade from psp-hacks.com, my psp is european does it make a difference ?

ive got a psp which has the letter H on the sticker on the box which indicates its a 2.50 but when i checked the system info it says 2.60, is it possible that sony updated the firmware and ten shipped it out or is the label i got misleading, i bought it from a high street shop

I have heard of five successful IC6001 downgrades...
I have not heard of IC6001 being bricked.

You should be safe enough if you follow the guide properly.
