Working Downgrader for 2.5 and 2.6 PSPs Released (V5 Beta)

Yeah, its gonna be sweet not having to listen to the start up music of GTA every time we want to run homebrew. That has really began to bug me.

Mafia.. Im just going by what it says in the guide. So as far as I know, no PSPs with pre-installed 2.6 firmware can be downgraded. It would be too risky for you to try it.

wow, i didnt need 2 restart it either. My got restore to default or something. In the guide it said reset the psp, strange?

I have a few questions...

Obviousely i have to buy GTA LCS to downgrade to 1.5, but if i have a 2.5, does that mean i have to update to a 2.6? If so, how can i do that when the upgrade will be for 2.7 (i think).

Also, does it matter what size memory card you have?

The numbers i see in the top right hand corner of my psp are R3-2 (i think im looking at the right place). Is it ok to downgrade with that? (please tell me where to look if i've given the wrong numbers =p.

some questions:
1) I have a 2.01 european psp, do i need a european upgrader to 2.5, 2.6 before i can downgrade or can i use the US, JAP upgrader? (If yes where can i find a 2.5 , 2.6 upgrader EU version)
2) Should i have my AC adapter in my psp while downgrading?
3) Are the chances of sucess bigger than the chances of failure?
4) I have a little bit of french (i think it's french) text on my psp, this doesnt mean that i have some kind of french psp right?
