    As well as posting the IC number, could people also post the firmware version the PSP had when they bought it?

    IC6001, firmwire factory 1.00 upgraded to 1.50( didn't know back then) 1.50, 1.52(i realised homebrew, i was crying till exploit came out and downgrader)1.50

    I can confirm my IC6001 origionallay 2.01(I think) downgraded successfully!

    I am so grateful. I feel bad for the people who bricked theirs though.

    well hopefully they can get the UP chip, i just hope they didn't have the TA-802 motherboard or they're screwed for now atleast

    Other people have said that its possible to upgrade to 2.6 then downgrade to 1.5.

    If there is no number then I think that means that its an older version of motherboard (less security)

    Can someone please confirm this.
