PS3 Hack Idea ??

Could the play tv install disk have the info needed to hack the ps3?

As play tv is installed and added to the xmb it must have the certificates to acces the flash memory ??

Some one has more than likely tried this but any help would be appriciated

I have a theory for downgrade or upgrade quickly the firmware of a PS3.

its VERY RISKY, but with a little electronic knowlegment its possible to probe, and if not function, we ca quickly reverse the installation

First, we have to replace the 2 flash IC, and put instead of ther a base for IC for a quicly change "this is avoid the soldering and desoldering"

PS3 have 2 flash IC (both are the same model), in theory we can buy 2 new(virgin) IC, and with the properly chip reader/writer (like we program a 16c84 microcontroller) "burn" this chips with an early version of the firmware and install it in tha base we are solded in the board of PS3

we can downgrade from 3.40 to 3.15 and we have the OTHER OS again

any comments???
