Please someone tell me where the root form my memory stick is. I don't know what a root is.
I see that the instructions say this downgrade CANNOT be run on a PSP that came with 2.60 pre-installed.Originally Posted by wraggster
Is there any way to downgrade a PSP that had 2.60 pre-installed?
When you first link up your psp to your pc and you click on the removable disk icon the root is what comes up (it contains all the files on your psp on the first level.Originally Posted by rip_la
Ok, I'll answer my own question.Originally Posted by binary
I did some research on other forums and it seems that a downgrade of a factory 2.60 will be successful as long as that factory 2.60 does NOT come with a TA-082 motherboard.
Apparently most factory 2.60 PSPs come with a TA-082 motherboard but SOME DONT.
If the factory 2.60 DOES NOT come with a TA-082 motherboard then apparently it will work fine. Other forums are posting successful downgrades using factory 2.60 PSPs that dont have a TA-082.
I have a facory 2.6... did not work... at least it did not brick
my psp is a factory 2.60 but, how do i know if is a ta-82........?
and by the way is that ta-82 a better hardware..
I do believe that the instructions tell you where to look. (inside the UMD "door") or something along those lines. I didn't use this particular downgrader.Originally Posted by danielcf2996
