I'll give it a shot with my 1.5. It has about 5 -2.0->1.5 downgrades under its belt(after being 1.5 by default).
Let you know the results.
Will this work fine on a 32mb memory stick? And also, I need someone to completely walk me through this, and can I use the firmware dump from Catfish from the original PSP-hacks downgrader pack?
And one more thing? Do I delete all of my savegames too and only leave the gta eloader save, or can I keep my gta saves in because all I have is a 32mb stick!!!

I have tried the noted password on the rar'd files in every iteration I could possibly think of including a cut an paste. Did the password change?
why would sony update? it doesnt work on 2.7 so there would be no point... unless... they updated with some pretty impressive stuff?
the way i did it was just download the kit from pspupdates or hacks its one of those and put those files on the root of the memory stick start up gta
and lit it do its thing make sure its plugged in and theres gonna be a minute or 2 when u dont know wats goin on itll reboot after its done so dont turn it off if you get disk read error take out battery and put it back in (i got disk read error and that worked)
yes it will work on 32 meg make sure u reformat the memory stick then put everything on thatll make sure you have enough space and as an extra security percouation i went to systems and rest defaulthope it works for every body and i hope this helps
That doesn't really help me at all...Originally Posted by Airdevil

I mean do I leave only the eloader save, and I also need to know about my other questions too.
yeah, I think Sony needs to add impressive stuff to a new FW to make people want it.
just a stupid video/music/web browser new option won't make anyone want to lose the homebrew
This downgrader does indeed work. I now finally have a 1.5! But, this cant be stressed enough, make sure you understand every step of the instructions before attempting this.
