Alright... today when I had almost finished defragmenting what was left on my only remaining harddrive... It went out back and shot it self...

I'm extreamly pissed... now I have only my crappy 40 giger...

The drive is tanked... everything is supreamly ****ed... like no ones buisness is it ****ed... I tried recovering it through so many ****ing ways... but no such ****ing luck... its as bajorked as the rest of them... seeing as hit had worked fine up untill last night I'm totaly confused on what in the hell happend...

SO! I am reformating the damned piece of $#@! and I'm gonna go use it for temp storge... now I have to go out and blow my weak ass paycheck on a ****ing hard drive...

BUT!

If any one must know I have made alot of prefabs for usage in Iris Team Fortress... unfortunately the models I was working on are ****ed along with my harddrive... thankfully I have backups of most of them on my laptop...

for now... I'm not going to kill the asswipe at bestbuy for refusing to replace my psp headphones without replacing the whole god damned psp package... because some how something that looks exactly ****ing alike and even says its exactly ****ing alike... ISNT!

Not sure much light has been shed onto Iris team fortress... so let me spit some out unofficialy

Every model in the game will be unique to ITF and the content will be licensed specificly for use with Iris and ITF (meaning if you take it and use any textures.. or models in any game other than iris... and we will bajork you... I may even do it personaly if you deface them)

ITF will be an extention to Iris's gameplay based entirely on teamplay design

players will be able to choose from either light medium or heavy armor its fairly self explanitory
for right now they will be simple but later on things like modifyers will be given to players. each player can have 1 modifyer of each type, a team modifyer and a combat modifyer.

Team modifyers will give the player something to aid their team in accomplishing a mission each of these will be restricted to ensure that there is atleast one player as a medic or atleast one as a demolition specialist.

the combat modifyers are special though... unlike the team modifyers they are class specific...

the light unit can have speed boost or stealth (they require cooldowns)

the medium unit can obtain explosives or reduce their recoil

heavy can get heavyer armor or a rocket launcher.

these of cource arent official



any way the first release will for sure have Fortress defence based games

- Standard Team Deathmatch One team vs another - with bases
- Capture the flag, steal the other teams flag and keep them from stealing yours... ect...

Later addons may include
- Conquer each team starts with their own base and any where from 1-3 extra bases will be in the playing area... one team must gain controle over all bases in order to win or control the most bases at the end of the round.
- Hold out, There will be 3-4 bases/outposts on the map controled by one team which they must defend till the time runs out, the other team is faced with capturing all of the bases before the time runs out
- One Life to Live, a team elimination game where each player has one life the players are restricted to the medium armor class

that itf thing sounds unbeliveably awsome so frikin awsome. sweet! o yea is the online mode gonna be on 2.6 or only 1.0 and 1.5 and where do you get the 2.6 downgrader
