OK so i know that a lot of people that recently downgraded they're 2.5/2.6 psps where probably gta fans(me included) i know that you can play gta lcs on a 1.5 psp with devhook and it works amazingly well, but in october rockstar games is releasing gta vice city tories. the problem is devhook can't emulate firmwares above 2.5 and this will definately require a 2.6 or above firmware. so how are all of us gta fans going to play this game without buying a modchip or a second psp?

well hopefully it deosnt require higher than 2.71 because we wont be above that with devhook when it comes out

I bet Booster will try and include 2.71 emulation in another release. Just wait, if it doesn't work on release day, it will be playable on 1.5 at some point. Don't underestimate 1.5.

nope. just upgrade to 2.60 because e-loader works with 2.01 2.50 and 2.60

No way i am updating. I just downgraded and emualtors and homebrew run a lot faster snce the eloader isnt using all the ram.

There are workarounds for this. I have daxter(it's 2.6) running on my 1.5 psp and it is fine.

How did you get Daxter to work? I haven't been able to load mine with Dev Hook. Did you use the UMD?
