lol. Lua is pretty much as open source as it gets. Since it is scripting language, you run the script directly with an interpreter (luaplayer). so, you will have to download the file(sry). anyway, once you do, just look for script.lua and open it in a text editor.

Masterchafed, can you please help me with tiled backgrounds, and how to move the "camera" around a character on the screen? I have been pondering and trying to figure out how to do it, but with no luck. I dont mean to bother you with somthing I could probobly learn with some reading, but it would be realy helpful if you could fill me in, either by PM or Email at [email protected], Thanks a lot!

By the way, sounds like your progressing quite a bit on your project! If only I had started work on a simpler project.
