Kernall Homebrew

I have been running e-loader on a 2.6 for a while now and have made use of emulators, lua player etc.

My question is what does kernall homebrew offer me that non-kernall homebrew doesn`t.

Also, any must have homebrew and what use it has?

Hope this isn`t to noobish, but a whole new world of homebrew has just been opened up to me.
