    bricked my PSP.
    DAMNIT
It won't load past a plain black screen. I followed all the instructions explicitly and made sure it was a compatible version PSP.
Is there anyway to do anything about this?

I just got a brand new PSP now so I won't be trying this again!

HELP!!! I just downgraded my psp from 2.01>2.50>1.50 and my psp isn't running any type of homebrews anymore (snex9TLY-0.4.2,pspvbz, etc.) its not even playing any videos I uploaded on to it...much appreciated for any suggestion

    Default Question

I currently have 2.60 FW because of an update I did a while ago, and had 1.51 or 1.52 FW when I first bought the system (I don't remember which I had). When I first put GTA into the system while I still had 1.51 it told me to update to 2.00 before playing. After I clicked the update, that "PSP Update ver 2.00" option went away. Later I updated to 2.60 and after I began using homebrew with the GTA eLoader, that "PSP Update ver 2.00" option eventually came back. Is the odd fact that this update is back some strange known indication that my psp will have trouble downgrading? Or does this update option show up for everyone with 2.60 and I am just unaware? I am just trying to be very very safe.

Does this work on American PSPs too?
