I followed the instructions and got v1.5 on my psp but now i cant play any games as i get a message saying " to start, you must update the system software" Any ideas what went wrong?

thats normal, since you downgraded, your psp cant play new games anymore. you can use devhook to emulate 2.71 to play all your new games

cool thanks, one my question as i am a complete newb where in the psp directories do i place the homebrew apps and stuff so that i can run them?

in the GAME folder you. you'll get two folder Example and Example%, those are the ones you put inside GAME (GAME is supposed to be inside PSP)

i got the game directory but no example ones should i create them?
