This is excellent news! Now almost anyone can be a 1.50 person! Unless they have:

• a 2.71/2.70 psp or...
• a TA-082 psp

...or in my case, i've lost the charger... but mine is a 2.00...
Anyway, if we get more luck, someones gonna figure out the 2.71 encryption, and we will be able to use 2.71 firmware through DevHook until 3.00 comes out!

wasn`t the fisrst one easy enough? i downgraded from 2.01 >2.50>1.50.No problem. And the instucktions were easy as hell. Now i am enjoing all of the is..i mean hombrew

I want to downgrade, but i cant because then i need to upgrade.. so where can i find a 2.5 or a 2.6 update? i have looked for it, but cant find anything but 2.71... if i use the updater on the psp, that goes through the psp browser.. will it then jump to 2.71 from 2.01 wich is what i use...?

you can get it from a game anything thats been out in the last couple of months is 2.5 or 2.6. dont do the network update it will do 2.71 also you can find firmware from other psp sites not hard to find

Just downgraded to 1.5, tried to boot quake from the game menu and got an error.

Hey i have got a 2.60 and love my psp games as well as homebrew. can i use that DEVHOOK 41D
thing to load my umds. if it cant load all umds can someone tell me if it can load Burnout leg,GTA lcs
and Dynasty Worriers.

Finally will future releases be able to load 2.70+
