Default Loading 2.60 UMD Video on 1.50?

Does anyone know any UMD loaders that will run a 2.60 UMD Video (Spiderman 1 to be exact) on my 1.50 PSP?

I didn't think UMD Videos' had firmware requirements, but I got Spiderman and it won't play until i upgrade to 2.60!

I know teh 2.60 downgrader is out, but I'd rather just be able to load it at any time using a UMD Loader. I've tried Genesis, but it didn't work.

Dev Hook just isn't working for me, as although I got the latest, the firmware launcher included is still 0.40, which only supports up to 2.00 firmware launching.

Thanks in advance for an help.

That sucks, if you cant get it working on devhook, i'm not sure that there is a way. My advice: sawp your spiderman umd with someone who has an old one and who dosent mind uploading.

Lol. There is no old one. Spiderman 1 only just came out here in Australia on UMD .

However, does the 0.42 Dev Hook allow 2.60 firmware launching? I used 0.41 I found, which only allows up to firmware 2.50 launching.

DevHook 0.42 can load up to 2.50 firmware at the moment, however try selecting the option "UMD Version 2.XX-2.00" then running the 2.60 SpiderMan UMD. It works with several games, so it might work with SpiderMan.

I've just tried, and it loads the 2.50 firmware, but when I try to start the UMD (from the menu), it informs me that I'm using 2.50 firmware and need to update to 2.60 to play the UMD.

    Grrrr...

Oh well. It's from EB. I can take it back and get my money back. Annoying though.

    wait

use 0.41d it doesnt do the update check
it will probably work on that version

i still use 0.41d as i have two 2.60 UMDs which work only on 0.41d, but 0.42-b keep asking me to update!

the 2.71 is decrypted now so a new devhook will be out very soon which will load 2.71!!!!!!!

Ok, I'll try it. Thanks for the tip! I'll need to downgrade now though, coz I upgraded to watch it now that the downgrader is out.

If this doesn't work, I reckon I'll still keep the UMD though. Only cost me $12.50 AUS. If they can make a downgrader for 2.60, they can make a firmware loader.
