    Should I use any speific liquid to clean the laser of my PS2?

    i wouldnt be putting liquid anywhere near a laser you should buy a dvd lens cleaner its a dvd that has little brushes on it used one on my ps2 and it seemed to work a lil better

    I agree you shouldnt clean the lazer with liquids but if you must I would just slightly dampen a q-tip wth either acetone or rubbing alcohol and carefully clean it.

    when my ps2 didnt read games i just used my breath and my shirt to clean the laser and it fixed my ps2

    not sure if this helps;
    i did a 50 / 50 solution of alchohol and water on one of my old dc's, and it worked fine, you might not sure about a ps2 tho.

    get a q-tip/cotton bud or an extremely dry and thin cloth. dampen a little and dry out with the friction of you fingers. litely go over the laser. then go firmly over.
