need help upgrading from 2.01 to 2.50

i was about to upgrade my psp from 2.01 to 2.5 but when i went up to network update on my psp i didnt know what version it was going to upgrade to can someone please tell me how to do this

if you do it from the network update it will update your firmware to the latest firmware 2.71 and you will loose all homebrew so the best thing to do is download 2.50 from the interent on your computer and install it that way

yeh all u do is d/l the update make a UPDATE folder in the GAME folder, then go to Game on the XMB and the to the update icon

go to dl.qj.net and click psp and then firmwares to get the 2.5 update.
