Playing UMDs sucks the life out of the batteries. You can view videos for about 8 hours or so off of the memory stick.Originally Posted by chemical

For some reason I dislike Xbox's, I dont really know why =/, then I like both Playstation and Nintendo, as a young kid it was nintendo nintendo nintendo, i loved it, but as I grew up I now enjoy both, I often like Nintendo to go back to my childhood, and Playstation for some newer games.Originally Posted by s1k0

I don't really care about the biased "ogm DS pwnz teh Pee-S-Pee" and vice-versa. Nintendo has always aimed for the "suitable for everyone" thing. It's all a question of taste. I just happened to buy a PSP, and am enjoying it. For everyone DS-orientated who has a problem with that, go touch yourself. (touching is good)
Well i think alot of people that have the PSP also have the NDS yet talk bad about it. Its day and night. Black & White. All about taste. Love them bouth. How about this GP2X is better but in a young stage yet. Let the flaming bigging.
I have a psp and love it,but,I'm also buying a ds.I'll have the best of both worlds.
nah-nanny-boo-boo
Seriousyl,
why does one console ALWAYS have to be BETTER?
Theyre both great hand helds, far adavnced from any weve had in the past. They both provide countless hours of entertainment to countless amounts of people. Just because you own one, or happen to like a particular system better than the other does NOT mean the other one is complete crap. Anyone who thinks that is just blind and a fool. Its really a matter of personal taste(or money :P) and is too subjective to say one is better than the other.
So everyone quit your mindless babble and go enjoy whichever handheld you happen to have.
It's true that the PSP homebrew scene is much more developed but the NDS scene is really starting to bloom.
As for RedKing14CA and his 3 points, you can also scan for wifi with the DS as well as put it into a stand by mode which saves you spot exactly where you left it in a game or application.
There is already a free homebrew broswer for the DS available as well as AIM that is in development and other apps that are already available.
It took me a while to pick the DS over the PSP. I considered all the homebrew aspects and still went with the DS. I just think there is more potential on the DS and the portability and aesthetics of the DS was better.
This thread fails.
