whenever i try to load the emulator it tells me that the file is corrupted? if anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated

On which firmware ? if you use it with 2.5 or 2.6 FW you need to launch it using GTA + the eloader

There are already good GB / GBC emulators

. I've removed all the GB code from VBA ...
