The developers behind The Conduit and the recently re-announced Tournament of Legends will break their Wii exclusivity streak with The Grinder, High Voltage Software's zombie, vampire and werewolf shooter. The Grinder is also coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
Now that it's multi-platform, everyone can enjoy it. But there's going to be a wait. As noted at the end of a new trailer at IGN, The Grinder is now slated for "Halloween 2011." So much for the game's contribution to The Year Of Better Wii Games.
That extra time will be needed for High Voltage to focus on the higher-definition art assets, which is experiencing a bit of a makeover from The Grinder's debut last year.
As far as we know, the game still doesn't have an officially announced publisher, which may explain one of the reasons for bringing The Grinder to three additional platforms, especially since publishing partner Sega can't seem to make up its mind whether it wants to make "mature" Wii games or not.
