Even though i havent used it, i would say the M3, and i would not say the GBAMPv2 is the easiest way to get homebrew on the DS...
With the recent release of the DS Lite and also the many advances with new flash cards and passme devices being released it gets very confusing for newcomers to choose which is best.
So to all you DS Homebrew fans out there, Whats the est Way to Get Homebrew working on the DS ?
Even though i havent used it, i would say the M3, and i would not say the GBAMPv2 is the easiest way to get homebrew on the DS...
I personally prefer the M3. It took some figuring out but now that I know how to properly use it I consider it to be quite useful.
Its a bit expensive , but definately the M3 and a 3rd Gen passthrough device.
When the M3 pro comes out (is it out already?) it will be a cheaper option as long as you dont want to run GBA homebrew
That new ninjaDS thingy looks cool though - definately need investigation
i would say just a cheap supercard, as none of the files here are very big, i got the m3 but i cant get anything to open right on it, so that isnt exactly begginer friendly.
I agree for now the best is the M3 with the right passme. But if you just want to play NDS roms you have to get the Ninjapass its going to be the best because theres no set up yust copy from the usb connector to the cart and your set to play atlest thats what the rep tolled me. Im already waiting for mine to arrive.
I have an M3sd with Flashme 7 (had a Passkey 2 before that). It's done me pretty well so far, and I don't have any complaints. ^^ The large amount of storage (I have a 1gig sd card) is definitely nice, and I'm glad the M3 is so responsive and updates their firmware so often (Rockman ZX was working flawlessly within a week after its release. o_O That's pretty dedicated).
It's a bit pricey, but with their high compatibility, low battery drain (the SC isn't too friendly to the DS's battery), and support from the creators, I'm definitely willing to spend a bit more on it.
I would say: a normal flash card, like the EZ-PSII or maybe the G6.
Because there is no problem with fat-table support or anything like that!
So every homebrew app should work without any problems.
I like my supercard SD.
I would say G6 3rd Gen or M3 Adaptor with Flashme v7
Saying that I use Supercard Mini SD with Flashme v7 and use a converter so that most homebrew works.
