Although Electronic Arts said it would be de-emphasizing its distribution of third party titles in the coming year, Harmonix has said that the publisher will still be distributing the upcoming Green Day: Rock Band.
The title was not listed among EA's upcoming key releases, and during a conference call Monday, CEO John Riccitiello said EA's distribution agreement with Viacom and Harmonix expires in March, leading to speculation that EA was out of the Rock Band picture.
But today a Harmonix representative, in a brief statement, said Green Day: Rock Band will be distributed by Electronic Arts.
