Ah, my mistake. I was under the impression that the TA-082 only came with 2.7. Thanks for the correctionOriginally Posted by Cooe14

Even if you have a factory TA-082 2.6 PSP, you can still run pretty much every emulator available using the GTA exploit and eloader. You just have to get a copy of GTA.

Ok, I'm too confused with this to bother searching hours for the answer, so I'lll ask it here.
I traded my old X-box for someone's PSP. However, he did not give me the box with it and it's doubtful he still has it. My PSP says version 2.6, but I'm not sure if that's the version it came with. So what can I do to check if it is degradable? Hopefully without opening the whole thing up.
in the umd drive if you see the number TA-082 MEANS you cannot downgrade if it doesnt you canOriginally Posted by Shine Darkly
I looked down into the drive and I didn't see and numbers. Where would the numbers be?
EDIT: I pulled out a flashlight and on the inside of the UMD drive I can see the first row or numbers, it looks like it says "RJ3-" is that it?
Just bumping.
I'd like to know if it's degradable soon so I can get to work on learning about homebrewing and getting a new memory card...
