easydowngrader needs 1.5????

Hi just after i bought my 2.01 psp i read that for the easy downgrader to work you need to get files off a 1.5 psp. i dont have a 1.5 psp asnd dont know anyone who has one. Do you need to get these files off a 1.5 psp or does the easy downgrader come with them.

you get them from someone with a 1.5, basicly what it does is rip a few files from the flash of the 1.5 PSP and re-copy them to the higher firmware psp, resulting in a downgrade


but apparently its ilegal to post or upload the files to the internet at all...

First you need to upgrade to 2.5 for the downgrade to work. Secondly you need a 1.5 firmware dump.

Isn't all that is required is a 1.5 firmware dump? If so couldn't she use psar dumper (sorry if saying that is against the rules mods if so please delete.)

no, its a dump of a few files on the NAND flash chip, because the information within the system is the information required

If not can you download them some were as a torrent or something

yeah go to www.psp-hacks.com then go to the download section and download one of the 2.5/2.6 downgraders and it will have all the files you need in it and you wont have to look for 1.5 dump.
