Correct me if im wrong here but i thought you couldn't downgrade a factory 2.60?
A factory 2.60 is one that comes with the 2.60 already installed. And when the downgrader was released it was stated that only previously upgraded PSP's can be downgraded...

my buddy has a 2.6 psp...
bought one today....bricked it 2 hours later...
factory 2.6..........
we used the dcemu one too.....didnt work...
he had the right motherboard tooo!
its wierd....he had the same motherboard as i do.....but i bought my psp when it was 2.5....upgrade to 2.6....downgrade to 1.5...worked like a charm....his didnt get soo lucky!
he got a new psp warranty though from walmart!

I know that is a bummer good thing I'm one of the lucky people that baught a virgin 1.5, well not virgin anymore I added custom firmware so its already been tinkered with
