how to upgrade to 2.60 please read

Ok so i got the old version off gta and when i baught my psp off my friend he updated to 2.01 so all i gotta do is upgrade to 2.60 and then down to 1.5.
The thing is i cant get hold off the 2.60 update i have searched google for ages and no look i have a uk psp and i can get hold of the north america 2.60 eboot but will that be compatable with my uk psp i dont think it will if any1 has it on there comp can they send it me or tell me some games i could get preownd that my allow me too upgrade. thanks in advance.

Get Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max, or the FF7: Advent Children UMD.

All updates are compatible with all PSPs. The only thing is that it will void your warranty (90 days since purchase, get free fix-up if malfunctions).

how can you not find a 2.6 eboot

I said non-hacking sites. I consider QJ.net to be on the hacking and homebrew side of things. Of the 20
first hits on a google search for "psp 2.6 update" only two of them actually had the update. The other 18 were split between linking to the official SONY site, which now has only the 2.71 update for download, or not having any link at all. I did find the update on QJ.net, but it took a bit of searching a beginner might not be adept at.
