Question Partial Brick - unbrick with Epsilon Bios?

    hi,
i read this comments and in post 4 langsalang asked if is possible to unbrick your psp with the up modchip and later anger (post 5) answered that it's possible to unbrick the psp.

I read this article (post 2) but i don't understand it.

so, my psp has a partial brick, i can't go into the xmb, because the font is a wrong one....

i'm going to buy me the modchip, but i would be very happy, if there would be a way to use the flash of the psp

so, is it possible and if: what do you have to do???

edit: heres the article with the comments:

yes, i think it's possible, too, but here's what i'm thinking about:

    i start the modchip xmb
    run xflash
write a new font to flash
    ----so now what will happen???
---1. it will write to the psp flash
---2. it will write to the modchip flash

it would be very useful, if somebody could say it and is 100% sure

may be there is another way???
load devhook to emulate 2.xx and upgrade to the latest fw via network update
    ----but same question:
    ----so now what will happen???
---1. it will write to the psp flash
---2. it will write to the modchip flash
