    Default LUA .20 sucks!

    Alright people, halo 2d has been coming along very slowly because of the constant errors in lua player .20. Well, i just tried .16 and i am suddenly able to do so much more. So i may be able to get a new release out very soon! NOTE: never use .20.

    .20 is certainly different. It's not bad, and has A LOT of new features, and it's actually pure LUA 5.1. But the bad part is that half the stuff doesn't run. I guess you could sit there and figure out the features, but I am also sticking with .16

    Use version .17dk
    Its the same as .16 but extra functions as below
    New Functions:
    ---------------
    nil System.Quit()
    --exits Lua Player back to the psp browser
    nil System.initUMD()
    --activates UMD and mounts to disc0:
    bool System.isUmdInserted()
    --returns true if UMD is inserted
    nil System.setCpuSpeedHigh()
    --sets CPU clock to 333mhz
    nil System.setCpuSpeedMed()
    --sets CPU clock to 266mhz
    nil System.setCpuSpeedReg()
    --sets CPU clock to 222mhz

    I cant go above .14 simply due to the lack of an updated luaplayer for Windows

    What exactly makes .20 soo bad?

    Well, lua isnt the best language, but at least newbie can learn it fast and get to actual scripting. Took me two hours

    Yeah, lua is simple. You can even edit the scripts right on the psp with text editors. It works and it gets the job done.
