so can any one tell me exactly how to intall a snes emulator along with some roms on my psp ver 2.6

and if possible is there any way to do this without using gta

There's no way to launch anything (other than legitimate Sony approved UMDs and applications) on a 2.6 PSP without GTA.

My suggestion :

Check your PSP isn't a TA-082 model
Rent GTA if you don't want to buy it and downgrade to 1.5
?????

If you can downgrade, do it. Don't worry about losing all of the 2.6 features, because we have Dev Hook to solve that problem.

Also, if you download the easy 2.6 downgrader, it gives you a picture of a TA-082 model PSP.

SSaxdude is right. Its worth far more then the trouble to get through with the downgrade. There is so much you can do with a 1.5 PSP.

if you cant find the tutorial, look for an area with a little green in the top right corner of your UMD drive. if you have no writing there than you are good. otherwise, you are kinda screwed (at least for now)
