dsi games on ds

can some one tell me if dsi games work on the ds using a r4 and if not is the any way to be able to play both using another method thanks in advance

Yes you can play dsi games on a ds lite, what happens is that any specifiic features of the dsi version won't work on the ds,but apart from that they should work ok.

You can only run certain DSi games on a DS lite, if any.
The DSi has more RAM than the DS, I am not 100% sure how much, but I know it has more. Plus it has bigger screens. So, it's gonna be hard, but it *MAY* be possible.
