Another I need help thread! (Not a n00b tho)
Hey, I know you must get a dozen of these every week, but I for the life of me can't get any backups to run on my dreamcast. I picked it up recently, and have been attempting to makes backups of my games and run them, but to no avail. I have used BootDreams and the .cdi image method.
I have followed the guide's instructions to a tee, but my DC won't read it as a game disc. I've even tried Utopia the Boot cd, but that just freezes up. One thing that confuses me is the .cdi's come out as 775mb files, how do those fit on cd-rs?
I am also sure my DC CAN run cd-rs, guy who sold it to me gave me a game along with it that plays fine. Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
p.s. I use WINXP, I've heard rumors this doesn't work for burning a DC-game, is that true?
