Angry PSP and computer wont recognize card

First off, I would like to say that im not a complete idiot and I did try everything imaginable before making this thread.

My card is a 4 GB LEXAR Memory Stick PRO Duo from Walmart that I have not had any problems with till now.

Tested with Windows XP and Windows 7

    Different setups I tried:

Put card in PSP, click USB connect from XMB - Didnt work
Put card in PSP, click USB connect from recovery menu - Didnt work
Put card in memory card reader - Didnt work

Since none of this was working I figured it was a Windows problem so I downloaded a live CD of Ubuntu. I ran that and it recognized my files on the card. I copied them to my laptop.

If I hook up my PSP or card to my computer (Windows 7) it says I must format the disk, I click OK or yes or whatever then it says "Windows cannot format disk".

If I put the card in my PSP it either says "- KB" or "0 MB"

If someone can suggest something for me to do that would be awesome. Thanks guys.

I also formatted it from the XMB three times and reset my Flash 1 twice

More info I forgot. The PSP is an original PHAT. The oldest one. It has CFW 5.00 M33-6
