Hack v1.4u

Hey guys I just bought my first dsi
It's blue DSI the firmware is V 1.4u.
Now is this possible to hack so I can play backups off my memory card?
If possible what do I need and how do I do it?
I heard the V1.4 blocks booting or something like that.
Any help would be beneficial and appreciated thanks.

hello, you need flashcard compatibile with dsi 1.4 version console
it's a cartdrige same size as original ds games
