psp downgrade help

how do u check wat model thingy u hav (ex.like TA-082(idk wat that even is lol)) i looked were the picture shows but i dont see anything. and wat is the difference between psp models like (PSP-1001,PSP-1002, etc.) i hav PSP-1001

1001 is normally jap and 1002 is euro & usa although you will find eather or eany where you look. As for the ta-081 or 082 you need to look inside the UMD case if you cant see it then your only choice to be 100% sure is to open it up. Remember this does void the warranty.

well i dont wanna make a new thread so ill ask here. ive been thinkin to downgrade my psp with a friends gta, but if i do can i still play my other games without having to update again? (im pretty new at this stuff) or should i just buy gta and get an eloader and have gta to run the eloader and to run around and kill hookers with

no downgrade and use devhook to play all your games. Get the full downgrader it works great iv ussed it to downgrade mine and my friends psp.
