    I just downloaded that eboot and it says:

    "The system software of your PSP(tm) system is version 2.71
    To start, you must update to version 2.80 or later.
    For update methods, refer to the PSP(tm) system instruction manual."

    Sony: we'll never force a firmware upgrade.

    Here's a thought, and it too is weak.

    What happens if you upgrade the PSP when it is running a simulated firmware through devhook? Since f0/f1 are hooked to the memcard, does it flash the faked firmware files? or does it hard code to the real f0/f1

    i'm sure its the real f0/f1 but its worth a thought... come on booster, get NAND emulation working then we can all upgrade in memory!

    LOL mike we were only disscussing thisnew fw and other things yesterday and it appears.Like my esteemed freind said come booster.

    This update is crap. You cant even stream the rss videos, you can only save them to your memory stick. Videos can now be played from ms0:/psp/video finally though.

    I could never see the point in why Sony just didn't program the PSP for video playback from the PSP/VIDEO/ folder.

    weel the ycan release as many new fw that they want but ill NEVER upgrade lol but its good to see this out tho maybe itll be one more fw to add to devhook
