    Hopefully this firmware will be sorted out on Devhook soon(ish).

    I want to buy the new Capcom Ghouls and Ghosts game (which is bound to have this new firmware), but i think i'll wait now till its hacked.

    I agree with jangosolo /\ /\ This update seems a bit pointless to me.. Maybe they (booster) should wait for the firmware with PS1 emulation before the next Devhook and let $ony "get comfortable" in the meantime

    I guess the reason it wasn't set for psp/video is to make it real freakin hard to figure out how to play video from your memory stick, thus forcing you to buy UMD movies (yeah right)
    What I really wanna see is the psp recognize my sony walkman phone memory stick like it does with my sony camera

    yawn.

    i wish sony would just get over themselves.

    firmware updates are fine, providing they add something decent. trying to block everything is a fruitless task... and making games require newer firmwares is just lame.

    i havent seen any full game that actually required 2.7+ myself.... i wonder if anything like GTA:VCS will actually *need* this? Sony will have only managed to delay my purchase of the game if that is the case.... since i'll need to wait for the 2.8 devhook update.
