I think GPF mentioned somewhere that, there is no reason it shouldn't work, but it just doesn't.
Maybe he'll come on and explain it better, but we know he knows what he's doing with all his ports.
There must be someone out there who could put a savestate feature into FrodoDS. Every other emu has one. Is there some technical issue which makes it hard to do.

had a little time today, so I have attempted to add save snapshot to FrodoDS, Will save the snapshot using the currently mounted .D64 name changing extension to .FSS. This new functionality is on the button X.
Also now when it starts the filelist will no longer popup automatically, so after the c64 boots up, press the left trigger to bring up the filelist, now if you select a snapshot file ending in .FSS, it will automount the same name with .D64 and then autostart the snapshot.
ok tested it with bc quest for tires and was able to save the snapshot, and reloaded it later from the filelist, hopefully haven't broken previous working stuff though.
Enjoy,

Thank you so much GPF! Will start trying it out asap.
Wow, fantastic so far. It's really simple to use and I have found no real problems yet. Nothing seems broken, no corruption or compatibility problems. I'll keep on testing.
The only thing I can think of is people might hit the X button by accident, but this is very minor. Thanks GPF!
